Can you be
reduced to eight hours of rest in domicile?
Yes. Crew Scheduling
can reduce your rest period to eight hours due to irregular operation in
domicile or an outstation. The eleven hours of rest in domicile (Section
4.D.1 ) provision in the contract is for lines built by Crew Resources,
excluding CDO lines. Remember, if you are on reduced rest, you must have
compensatory rest of ten hours the next evening.
Is
it legal to be assigned a flight
departing
at 1730 after sitting ready reserve from 0900 to 1700?
The company
may
assign you a trip prior to the end of your RRR shift. Your duty day must
terminate within 14 hours. Section 5.J.2.d states
“A ready
reserve Flight Attendant will not be scheduled for reserve duty in
excess of eight (8) hours; however, any assignment given to that Flight
Attendant must be scheduled to
depart
within the eight (8) hour period and will be flown to completion. At the
Flight Attendant’s option, the assignment may commence outside the eight
(8) hour window.”

Reserves paid for deadhead?

a reserve is deadheaded to a city for a ready reserve shift.
Are
reserves paid for training at the rate of 3.5 hours for six or more
hours of training? Are we paid $10/hour for less than six hours of
