Flightline, the creator of the FLiCA system, is the main support provider for
FLiCA. Crew Planners and Crew Schedulers do not have access to most of the
screens available to crew members, and thus cannot provide detailed support. If
you are unable to resolve a problem after reading all provided instructions and
online help (and contracts), your first call should be to FLiCA using the
contact information provided on their website. If needed, FLiCA will refer you
to Crew Scheduling.
Vacation Fly Through
Flight attendants who have vacation
scheduled in November will notice that the vacation appears in CTWeb under the
code "VFT". This code tells FLiCA that you are on (V)acation with the ability to
(F)ly (T)hrough. This will allow you to request open time flying during your
November vacation as stated in the memo that went out October 12th. VFT is
credited in the same manner as VAC; the only difference is the coding.
Pay Discrepancy?
AirTran uses the CrewTime Report for pay, not the pairing sheet. Confirm
accurate credit time in the CrewTime Report. It is reported within forty-eight
hours after a schedule change which results in a PPP designation.
Can Reserve Flight Attendants drop
reserve days?
Why can Reserve Flight Attendants take vacation time when
they have not completed one year of service?
Why is it that there
were about thirty trips in open time dated 01/31-02/03 and this
morning there were none available? When I tried to swap a trip
dated 02/03 for a trip on 02/08 it was denied saying
"insufficient reserves"? They (Crew Scheduling) have to be
giving these trips to the reserves and then a senior (flight
attendant) cannot trade. Isn't this a violation to give these
(trips) out before the 24 hr period?”
