If you do not have an MCO
Badge, you cannot be in the virtual base crew room. If you are caught in the
crew room without an Orlando Airport badge, the Greater Orlando Airport
Authority will fine you. This is not an AirTran Policy; this is a policy of the
Greater Orlando Airport Authority!
If your AirTran crew badge expires
before your recurrent training you can call Sonya Lawrence at
1-800-965-2107 ext. 5058 for an updated badge. You will be required to
report to Headquarters to obtain your new badge.
Every month Virtual Base Parking Passes will be mailed to the home
address you have on file with the company. Please ensure the company has
your correct address on file.
Also as a reminder, keep your
manuals updated and perform inflight service as outlined in your flight
attendant manual. We do have compliance riders on flights originating
out of Orlando and supervisors have been conducting numerous check
rides. If you are missing any bulletins or revisions, you can contact
Gene Binion to have those items sent to you. If you cannot get the
required items thru the normal channels, please contact an MEC Officer.
